The CNSGA Scholarship program originated in about 1991, by then President DON TREADWAY.    At that time membership dues and host club fees were used to award two $1,000 scholarships to a male and female golfer from Central Nebraska.   In recent years, the program has been self-supporting due to donations from CNSGA members and others.  CNSGA has awarded 4-5 -- $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors each of the past several years.
